When Eleanor goes back in the house after seeing Park, Richie is crass and abusive, calling her "nothing but a bitch in heat." His degrading comments force her to think more deeply about her situation. Until now, she'd "kept Park in a place in her head" that "Richie couldn't get to." But now Richie is "pissing all over everything," and she can't think about Park without seeing Richie's leering face.
